The following purchase price benchmarks are based on data from the Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) and Halifax Partnership for 2024–2025:
- Single-family detached homes: The average sale price reached an all-time high of CAD 605,950 in 2024, a 4.4% increase from 2023 (source: CB Maritime Realty / NSAR, 2024). The NSAR benchmark for single-family homes was approximately CAD 411,400 in early 2024, reflecting the difference between average and benchmark methodology.
- Townhouses / row units: The NSAR benchmark price for townhouse/row units was approximately CAD 512,100–532,400 in early 2025, representing a modest year-over-year increase of 1.3–2.4% (source: NSAR Statistical Report, March 2025).
