Remoters has no single price list, deliberately. Finding a studio in Porto and a family house in Geneva are not the same job, in markets that share almost nothing. So each home finder sets their own fee and puts it in writing before you commit to anything. In practice a search usually costs €500 to €900, depending on the city: from €300–€400 in Budapest up to €700–€1,450 in Dublin. Everything before the quote — matching, the scoping call — is free.

Depending on the city, from €300–€400 in Budapest up to €700–€1,450 in Dublin, then on the market and your file.
Matching, a scoping call and a written proposal, with no commitment.
The fee is set by your home finder and stated in writing before any commitment. Funds are held by Remoters and released to the home finder once the service is delivered.
You can get quite far before paying anything, which is the point: you should be able to judge whether the service is worth it before getting your card out.
Creating your account and submitting your search.
Being matched with a home finder in your destination who works in your language.
A first scoping call by phone, often on WhatsApp.
A written proposal covering the fee, the scope of the mission and the refund terms — with no obligation to accept.
Your home finder decides how to price their work, in whatever form suits their market: a flat fee, a percentage, or the equivalent of one month's rent in some rental markets. Remoters doesn't impose a grid, because a single grid across 60 countries would be wrong everywhere. What is fixed is the sequence: you know the amount before the search starts, never halfway through.
The same work is not billed at the same price in Lisbon and in Zurich.
The faster homes go, the more responsiveness and viewings the search demands.
Foreign contract, no local guarantor, a pet, a flatshare, a large family.
A furnished studio and a house with a garden are not searched for the same way.
A search that must close in ten days demands more than one prepared three months ahead.
Viewings only, or a full search with negotiation, application file and move-in support.
Rather than a theoretical grid, here is what clients actually pay. These figures cover the search service, all in.
The exact scope is in your quote, but a standard search covers shortlisting properties, viewings carried out for you with photos and a written report, negotiation, building your application file, and support through to lease signature. Beyond that, add-on services can be included depending on your needs and what your home finder offers: administrative formalities, setting up utilities, airport pickup, a neighbourhood walkthrough, insurance introductions.
The search service is paid before the assignment starts — either in full, or as a deposit plus balance; your home finder specifies this in the quote.
A deposit funds the search work, then a success fee is due when the transaction completes — a flat fee or a percentage depending on the market.
You pay online through a secure link on our payment platform Stripe, or by bank transfer to Remoters — never directly to the home finder, never in cash. Remoters holds the funds in escrow and releases them to the home finder only once the service has been delivered. That mechanism is the backbone of the relationship: you're not wiring money to a stranger on the other side of the world, and your home finder knows the work they're starting will be paid.
The refund terms are set out in the quote you accept, so they're worth reading. If the search does not succeed, it is also the home finder's quote that sets out what happens. If you and your home finder disagree, the Remoters team steps in as mediator.
The quote is what you pay: no sign-up fee, no added commission, no subscription for individuals and students. What the fee doesn't replace are the local costs attached to the property itself — security deposit, and agency or inventory fees where local rules impose them. Your home finder prices those upfront so you know the real cost of moving in.
The fee is set by the home finder and stated in a written proposal before you commit. It usually falls between €500 and €900 and depends first on the city (from €300–€400 in Budapest up to €700–€1,450 in Dublin), then on market pressure, how difficult your application is and which services are included.
No. Creating an account, being matched, the first scoping call and the written quote are all free and carry no obligation. You only pay if you decide to launch the search.
Yes — the search fee is settled before the mission begins, in one payment or two depending on the quote. The funds are held by Remoters in escrow and released to the home finder only once the service has been delivered.
Each home finder's refund terms are set out in the quote. The quote also sets out what happens if the search does not succeed: read it before you accept.
No. The quoted amount is all-inclusive — no platform fee, no added commission, no subscription.
No, the model differs. For a purchase, an upfront deposit funds the search and a success fee is due on completion, either as a flat amount or a percentage depending on the market. Your home finder sets this out in their proposal.
No. The fee covers the search and the support around it. The security deposit and any local agency or inventory fees remain payable under the rules of the country you're moving to — your home finder estimates them upfront so there are no surprises.
Free matching, a written quote, secure payment: you know what you are paying before you commit.
