The neighbourhoods of Maisons-Laffitte to rent in, with market rents recorded in 2025, access to Paris by RER A and the lease rules.

In Maisons-Laffitte, the best neighbourhood depends on what you are looking for. The city centre, around the station, suits you if you work in Paris or La Défense: the station is served by RER A and Transilien line L. The Parc and the Petit-Parc offer large houses and tree-lined avenues, at a high price. Finally, the pavilion zone offers detached houses that are more affordable than in the Parc.
The municipality had 23,093 residents in 2023 according to Insee, and 40.3% of main residences there were rented. The rental supply is therefore narrower than in a big city: few listings, many family houses, and rents among the highest in the Yvelines.
Here is how the neighbourhoods break down, what a home costs in 2025 and what you need to know before signing your lease.

The town organizes its neighborhood councils around three areas: the town center, the Parc and Petit-Parc, and the detached-house zone. Its minutes also distinguish, within the Parc, the Parc-Napoléon-Charlemagne and Petit-Parc-Albine areas. The commune lies between the Seine and the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, and more than half of its territory is taken up by the park.
This is the area of apartments, shops and services, with the station a few minutes' walk away. It suits professionals who go to Paris every day, couples and those who live without a car. The station hub welcomes more than 14,000 travelers a day according to the Saint Germain Boucles de Seine urban community.
A point to watch for 2026 and 2027: the station area is a building site. The bus station has been closed since 6 July 2026 and the bus stops have been moved to avenue Longueil. The second phase is due to finish in September 2027, then the place du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny will be redeveloped between July and December 2027. The Parc, with its avenues lined with large estates, is the most sought-after area in the commune. Mostly houses are rented there, often with a garden, at rents that far exceed those of apartments in the center. It attracts families looking for space and calm. The neighboring racecourse is a reminder that the commune presents itself as the city of the horse.
Attached to the same neighborhood council as the Parc, the Petit-Parc (Petit-Parc-Albine area) shares its residential character. It is worth a look for a family that wants a house with a garden and the calm of the Parc, by comparing listings street by street.
Outside the Parc, this area of individual houses often offers the best ratio of floor area to rent for a family. Check the walking or bus time to the station, which varies from one street to another.
The rent map published by ANIL in December 2025 estimates, from SeLoger and leboncoin listings, market rents including utilities in the third quarter of 2025:
For a studio, count on €850 to €1,000 per month; for a T2, €1,000 to €1,400; for a family T4, €1,800 to €2,500. The large houses of the Parc can exceed €4,000. Landlords generally ask for net income of at least three times the rent including utilities.
Gather ID, your last three payslips, your latest tax notice, employment contract and the guarantor's documents. In a commune where listings are rare, being the first complete application often counts for more than anything else.
