- Building common areas: Cleanliness and upkeep of stairwells, letterboxes, and entrance hall.
- Immediate neighbourhood: Street environment, noise levels, proximity to transport stops and local amenities.
- Parking and storage: Availability of a bicycle storage area or parking space if relevant to the student's needs.
