Flat sharing is almost mandatory given Amsterdam prices. Expect €600-800 for a room in a shared flat, vs €1200+ for a studio. Student residences cost €400-700 but are highly sought after.
Rent (€600-900) + utilities (€100) + living expenses (€300-500)
Start your search 4-6 months before term. The market is extremely tight. Register on student residence waiting lists as soon as you're accepted. A bike is essential.
